We consider ourselves lucky at Sea-Doo. Not only do we get to share the most fun experience you can have on the water with our fans, but also get to do this on a global scale. Everyday we receive amazing shots from Sea-Doo watercraft owners telling us their favorite locations to ride. And, with summer in just a couple of weeks, we thought it was the perfect time to share them. So, the next time you’re thirsty for a different kind of get-away, consider a new destination that’s popular among the Sea-Doo family!

DaleGnarwhaleDale Gnarwhale savors summer days riding the Sea-Doo SPARK down the largest natural lake in the western U.S. at Flathead Lake, Montana. This location is also known for the “monster” 50lb Lake trout.

BethanyStouderIf you’re looking to vacation in the mid-west, Bethany Stouder suggests the amazing views of the 800 miles of shoreline at Table Rock Lake in Missouri which she gets to ride on her Sea-Doo GTI SE 155.

JonathanYoung-BonavistabayNewfoundlandcanadaFor our friends up north, Jonathan Young gives us a quick peak at Bonavista Bay in Newfoundland, Canada from his Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 and GTR 215. The history and the heritage of the town and the geography of the location can be appreciated just as well from the water as it can be seen by land.

MaximeTheriault-AlmaQuébecCanadaSaguenay riverMaxime Thériault shares his view of the striking landscapes of the Saguenay River from the Sea-Doo GTR 215. Special to the mouth of the Saguenay is the four species of whale that call the river home. A major river of Quebec at 160km (100 mi), Maxime’s ride gets him from starting point to end where he can pull the throttle or use touring mode to soak in the views.

KitLoganWells-SkagwayAlaskaAlaska is known for having some of the greatest glacier views, and Kit Logan Wells’ shots from Skagway show just some of the sights from his Sea-Doo watercraft.

Of course, we can’t forget our friends down south of the equator. And, while they’re just coming into their winter months. Our fans in Australia are known to ride all year long now matter how chilly it gets. Jeffrey Priddis gives us a little look at his ride in the quaint, coastal town of Mylestom in New South Wales, Australia.

JEREMIEHADJIBEYLI-WAKE-FrenchPolynesia

Sea-Doo WAKE 155 owner Jeremie Hadjibeyli rides an incredibly unique island. Raiatea, known as The Sacred Island in French Polynesia is centrally located and the protected lagoon makes the island one of the best for water-sports.

Just one of the great benefits of owning a Sea-Doo watercraft is the lifetime of fun memories that you and your family will enjoy not to mention the ease of use that they provide. Next time that you’re in a vacation planning rut, check out these locations for some inspiration for a trip that your family will never forget.

Sea-Doo-SAR-search-and-rescueThe National Search and Rescue Secretariat recently announced that the City of Chambly, Quebec will be receiving the Award of Excellence 2014 in the innovation category for its involvement in the development of the Sea-Doo SAR, a watercraft designed exclusively for search and rescue professionals.

The award will be presented at the SARscene 2014 conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario on November 2nd. The Mayor of the City of Chambly, Denis Lavoie, and the Director of the Fire Department of the City of Chambly, Stéphane Dumberry will be receiving the award.

The presenter, SARscene 2014, aims to stimulate discussion and collaboration among people and agencies within search and rescue, emergency and consequence management. It is the largest national search and rescue conference in Canada.

The Sea-Doo SAR watercraft was developed by BRP in partnership with the Chambly Fire Department. It was unveiled earlier this year during the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. BRP worked closely with the Chambly Fire Department to develop the Sea-Doo SAR watercraft as a utility vehicle dedicated to life-saving professionals. The Sea-Doo SAR watercraft combines the features rescue professionals need to respond in life-threatening situations. You can see the Sea-Doo SAR in action below.

“At the Chambly Fire Department, we wanted to minimize the risk of injury to our water rescue team while improving the performance of our watercraft. We worked with BRP engineers at developing a safe, robust yet powerful and nimble SAR watercraft, one tailored to our needs,” said Nicolas Drapeau , Deputy Fire Chief.

DSC00783The #SPARKSOMEFUN Test Ride Tour that played an integral part in the historic launch of the Sea-Doo Spark watercraft is now complete. After 33 weekend events across North America the excitement for the new Sea-Doo Spark is peaking as the heart of summer has arrived. The #SPARKSOMEFUN events provided nearly 3000 watersports fans the first hand experience of test riding a new Sea-Doo watercraft to see what model best fits their needs.

Quiet Waters Park – Pompano Beach, Florida

Three Sea-Doo event teams produced weekend events at popular boating areas, working with local BRP dealers to build an experience that gave consumers a taste of what the watercraft lifestyle is all about. Guests were treated to festive events with expert instruction from passionate and knowledgeable Sea-Doo watercraft specialist. The Sea-Doo staff supplied all the riding gear to ensure guests were safe and comfortable during their time on the water. The #SPARKSOMEFUN course was designed with inspiration from video games with large oversized inflatables to build a course that was fun and easy to follow.

The Sea-Doo Test Ride Tour began in April in South Florida on the heels of the Miami #SPARKSOMEFUN event with deadmau5 and David Garibaldi. That momentum carried through to the Miami Test Ride event, taking place at historic Miami Marine Stadium. Following successful events in Pompano Beach and Tampa, the Miami event proved to be the season’s most popular in terms of participation with over 240 guests test riding the new Sea-Doo Spark. As Spring weather made its way north, the tour teams followed with events in Texas and Arizona before heading up the east and west coasts and into the great lakes regions.

The event venues varied from small private lakes, to large lakes, to rivers and bays. No matter the venue the goal was the same and that was to give guests a full taste of the fun they can have by owning and riding a Sea-Doo watercraft. BRP believes the best manner to pick the right watercraft for your needs is to, “try before you buy.” With the #SPARKSOMEFUN tour visiting new markets such as San Francisco, Seattle, and Quebec City to name a few, the sport of watercraft riding was exposed to an entirely new generation of boaters.
